Assay Jewelers (AJ) strives to ensure that each new jewelry item arrives in perfect condition. Vintage, pre-owned, and antique jewelry not applicable. If you notice a defect upon arrival, please contact our Customer Care team via live chat or email us at info@assayjewelers.com, and we will resolve the issue promptly.

Warranty Coverage: AJ offers a complimentary 3-year limited warranty on all fine jewelry purchases. This warranty covers any issues due to manufacturing defects, including:

  • Loose diamonds or gemstones
  • Loose prongs
  • Missing pavé stones
  • Broken clasps
  • Broken soft chains

Warranty Period Details:

  • First Year: Within the first year of purchase, AJ will correct any issues related to manufacturing defects or quality at no cost to you.
  • Year 2 to Year 3: From the second year up to three years from the date of delivery, you can send any piece back for inspection. For damages considered to be a manufacturing defect or quality-related issue, AJ will repair the piece at no cost. For damages resulting from normal wear and tear, a repair fee will be assessed and communicated to you for approval before proceeding.
  • Post 3 Years: Beyond the three-year warranty period, AJ will assist with repairs for a fee, plus applicable taxes and a shipping charge of $35.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, which may include, but is not limited to:

  • Scratches
  • Dents
  • Stretched or kinked chains
  • Misshapen bands
  • Cracked stones

Additionally, resizes, and lost or stolen items are not covered under this warranty.

Made-to-Order Items: Items that are custom made or made to order may have their warranty voided on a case-by-case basis, depending on the specific nature of the item and circumstances.
